“You could say that.” Kuro smiled warmly at the man. “Seemed nice out, so I decided to go out for a walk.” Kuro stretched her hand out, using her other hand to crack the kink in her wrist. “It sounded like a good idea at the time, and better then being holed up inside…but it seems no one else wants to play.” She waved her hand to the area around them for emphasis,”So somehow I ended up walking over here…”
“It’s not all that much more exciting here though, from the looks of it.” He offered Kuro a smile and a small chuckle. His eyes wandered for a moment, mentally tracking where at least some of the others would be at this time of day. It really was pretty rare for things to be so quiet, to the point where it was almost eerie.
He leaned forward and placed a hand atop Kuro’s head. With his patrols finished for the day, he knew he had some time to spare before he had to tend to other duties… so he saw no harm in spending a little time with this new acquaintance of the Shinsengumi’s. “It’d be a shame to waste a day like this, wouldn’t it?”
Kuro blushed lightly when the man leaned closer and patted her head. ‘I’m getting too used to this whole pat-on-the-head-thing.’ she thought mentally. But smiled nonetheless. “Well it is a nice day out.” Kuro murmured. “And it would be a shame to waste it.” She finally agreed with a slight nod, then teased. “So what do you have in mind captain?”
