Winry (about Buccaneer’s automail): Wow, cool! It’s fitted with claws! Oooh, are they diamond tipped? Ed let me put some on you!
Ed: HELL NO,
Kimblee: hmmm, I don’t blame you.
The problem with finding FMA manga panel examples is I always get distracted by the sheer perfection of the manga.
FIRST, WINRY I LOVE YOU
SECOND
KIMBLEE
OMG KIMBLEE
just casually observing these events and commiserating with Ed over the tackiness of that automail
u are a ridiculous villian.
The only time a soldier will know peace is when he dies.

Kimblee… as sadistic as he was, had said some pretty deep things.
“The one thing worse than death is to avert your eyes from it. Look straight at the people you kill. Don’t take your eyes off them for a second. And don’t ever forget them, because I promise that they won’t forget you.”
“What can be more beautiful than doing a job that puts your soul at risk?! Thats what it means to be alive!”
Damn you Kimblee for being near-Poetic,

And now for a tiny Kimblee appreciation post;
Kimblee didn’t try to justify his acts of mass murder under some pitiful excuse. He took his job and felt achievement for his own work. Was he wrong for finding pleasure in murder? Yes. But he was the only one who was honest with it.
If the entire rest of the group felt so awful about the whole acts, they could have easily turned around and quit fighting. Armstrong did it. Basque murdered Fessler, a higher ranking officer, for his ridiculous command to kill a man who surrendered. What did the rest do as the military treated them as pawns used to eradicate an entire race simply because it was an order? They followed commands, regardless of how much they complained.
At least Kimblee had the decency to take responsibility for his own actions, rather than pointing fingers for a job they chose to do.
