“Ah, you remembered.” The vixen chuckled. “Yes, I’m kuro. How have you been? Oh and sorry about that.” Kuro grimaced a bit, recalling the event before. “An odd enchantment fell over me…” She bowed her head lightly at ibuki. “I’m sincerely sorry for that.”
“Tch… Yeah, sure…”
Even though Ibuki snapped at her, he realized the fox demon was being sincere. The shove into the river seemed impish enough to match her chuckle, but Ryu was willing to go with the idea she was under a ‘spell’ and give her a second chance. “So, you’ve been around the Shinsengumi for a while now. What are you doing here?”
“Erm…” Kuro’s smile turned sheepish, as she waved her hand. “Well, I’m just out to gather some ingredients from the market. I’m a bit short on supply.” Pausing, she flinched, her hand going to her stomach. “Ah, and I guess I’ll have to stop to grab some dumplings along the way…” she murmured, then looking thoughtfully at ibuki, she asked. “Care to join me?”
Considering he was a friend of tuski-chan, it’d be nice if she did get to know him more.
