Early Morning

sanosuke-harada:

kurokit:

Kuro ears twitched when she heard the sound of a familar voice. ‘Sanosuke…?

She had just finish washing off the make-up of her performance and had donned one of her comfortable night-gowns she had. It was a simple black dress that had a simple design of a chinese dragon embroided on it. She had bought it for the nice silken feel of the fabric. The kitsune still had her hair up and was just about to remove her hair pin when she heard her name being called. She slid her door open, her nose telling her of the familiar scent she’d gotten used to. Already, she felt her cheeks flush a bit as she walked over, leaning against his back to greet him with a hug. She really has missed him, since he’s been so busy with his work, the girl hadn’t seen him for quite a while. “Welcome home.” She murmured, brushing her mouth over his as a chaste kiss.

Sano had waited a bit, then he heard the door slide open behind him. He was greeted by familiar arms wrapping around his back. He placed his hand over the meeting of her arms in greeting. She then came around to his front, giving him a light kiss and a welcome. Welcome home? He guessed she had been serious in offering her home to him.

“I’m home, Kuro-chan,” he replied as he wrapped his arms around her for a closer hug, resting his chin atop her head. “You weren’t asleep, right?” He patted her head gently as he fulled away to look at her face.

She shook her head at his question, smiling a bit. “No, I”m a bit of the nocturnal type.” Kuro chuckled a bit, since it was the truth, although she had no problems being awake in the morning. As a demon she only required a few hours of sleep. “I’m alright. And what about you?” She murmured, a bit concerned given his condition.

She noted how he appeared a bit pale, tired even. Most likely from working too long. Kuro hoped he hadn’t done too much work when the sun was up, since he can only function so well. She brushed her hand to the side of his face. ‘He hasn’t drunken my blood in a while.’ She tugged his hand, guiding him inside her home. Kuro gave him a light smile as she closed the door once inside. “Oh, I did something fun today that I haven’t done in quite some time.”
